TUSAL for November

Here is my TUSAL for November - that little pile of orts on top of the jar has been produced since last month.

I could pretend there were many more orts from days and weeks of non stop stitching and the rascal of a turkey on top of my jar ate most of them. However, I must once again admit to very little stitching for another month.

Surely I can do much better and finish the year with a burst of stitching.

TUSAL for October

Here it is - another less than productive month in the world of cross stitching. I have done a tiny bit of sewing and crocheting but certainly not as much as I should have done.  I have a feeling that I will wake up one morning and it will already be 2012.

My goodness, I was so sure I would be adding so many orts to my TUSAL jar this month. I must confess I have not added even one tiny little ort since my last photo session. I don't believe I will be making any predictions for the coming month.

I don't believe I have done any cross stitching since my last TUSAL post but this coming month should be much more productive for me.

I haven't been doing much cross stitching this month.  The little pile of blue and green orts on the top are ready to be added to the jar.  I outlined 25 ornament backs in  blue and stitched green numbers in the centers for the advent calendar ornaments.  I almost fainted a few days ago when someone pointed out that Christmas was 5 months away.

I haven't been doing much stitching lately so there is not a big change in my ort supply. Have a safe and happy holiday weekend to those who are celebrating.

I am so glad I am not late this month.

As you can see (in my little portable ort jar on top), I don't have very many orts to add to my TUSAL jar this month but every little bit means some stitching did get done.

I didn't get this month's orts in the jar in time so they are in my portable ort jar next to the TUSAL  Once DH snapped the picture I added them to the TUSAL.

Here is my TUSAL jar - I mostly added some white orts as I am stitching a lot of white on white which I must remember not to do very often in the future.

Here is my first picture of my ort jar for 2011.

I started saving my orts several months ago.
I didn't think I would have a chance to post on the right day but it looks like I do.
Maybe this isn't as easy as it I thought it would be ☺

OK, I think I may have found a SAL (Stitch A-Long) that I can keep up with next year.
It's Daffycat's TUSAL (Totally Useless Stitch-A-Long). All I have to do is post a picture of my ort jar every new moon in 2011 - even if I have not added any orts since the last new moon.
