Thanksgiving Finish

Yay!  I finished the turkey yesterday so my little Thanksgiving figures are all stitched.  When I first looked at this picture I thought I must have forgotten to stitch the feet on the little pilgrim girl but after looking at the pattern again, I see that her skirt must go all the way to the ground because she has no feet.
I haven't picked out my next project but I think I will focus on Thanksgiving preparation for a few days.
I have baked one batch of Orange Cookies but with our turkey now in the freezer I don't have room for any more cookies in there, so I may have to wait until after Thanksgiving to make the next batch.
I really love this time of the year and I am so looking forward to the family gathering to come.
Enjoy whatever stitching time you can find.

Fall WIP update

I have finished the pilgrim boy and almost finished the indian boy.  That will leave the turkey - time is really flying so I hope I can push myself to have these finished before Thanksgiving company arrives.
It's almost time to start making dozens and dozens of orange cookies.  There is a link to the recipe in my right side bar.
I am sending everyone wishes for a very productive month (including myself).

Fall WIP

I suddenly remembered some leaflets I found last year that I was sure I could finish stitching before Thanksgiving.  Well I had best hurry if I was thinking of Thanksgiving 2015.  (Paula Vaughan will have to wait a little longer in the wip pile).
After I finish the pilgrim, I will be stitching the indian boy and then a turkey.
I am thinking I might try making flat folds instead of the free standing nativity pieces that I finished earlier.
Here is a picture of the leaflets that  the charts are in.
I seem to remember that there is one leaflet that contains all of the 5 charts in one place but I could never find that leaflet - I was lucky enough to find these 2 leaflets that had the 5 charts.
I am going to make time for lots of stitching before the holiday season takes over.
