Mask Photos

I was making the pattern at P3 Designs but now I am using the pattern on this blog:

I have tried a few of the patterns I found by searching on line but for various reasons I have settled on the above pattern (Judy Laquidara's tutorial at patchworktimes.com). I was mostly looking for one that seemed to go the fastest for my brain.
I started making masks on April 4th and I have made 40 so far and given away 29 of those to family.
I didn't get pictures of all of the masks but I am listing them on my mask spreadsheet.
I want to start making some for the senior center in my town but they may not need any more by the time I finish the family masks I want to make.
I don't seem to be as fast as the sewing masters that are posting their progress in the hundreds every week or even every day on some sites.

Face Masks - my favorite pattern
This is my new favorite pattern for making face masks - click here
There are a couple of assembly tips that work for me:
1. When you find the middle of each side, tack a couple of stitches to hold the center point before you press the pleat into place in step 15 and 16 so there is no need to pin the center. With the iron I press the pleat in place and then I can sew the side without any pins. I seem to pin myself more than the fabric when using pins, much like I iron my fingers as much as I iron fabric any more.
2. In step 17 I do not stitch the top and bottom of the mask (I only stitch down each side). I use a tie that starts out at 1.5 inches and make a double fold. I sew the tie over the raw edges at the top and bottom.
I can't seem to be able to access my google photos to show a picture right now so I will have to figure that out later
