I have started another TinyTown - this is Big Hearted Tiny Town.
I was supposed to use a light pink on the right side of the double building with LOVE at the bottom.  I don't want to frog that much so I am trying to decide where to use that color somewhere on the remaining chart.  It's such a pretty pink and that building was the only place it was used - I just don't want to not use it somewhere.

Have another great week of stitching.

xsWIP 12 Days of Christmas

I am almost finished with Day 4 of the 12 Days of Christmas by Artecy which is available here:

https://www.everythingcrossstitch.com/images/product/responsive/36069.jpg?v=080403

I am stitching this on 16 count aida which is not easy - there are a lot of fractional stitches with these little cuties.

Have a great weekend of stitching.

XS Finish Tiny Town

I could not be happier with the way it turned out.

Now I will watch a tutorial by Vonna on how to do a drum (probably more than once).

XS WIP Tiny Town

I am almost 1/2 way across the Christmas Tiny Town by Heart in Hand.  I am stitching this on 20 count fabric, 1 thread over 1 square so it won't be very large.  (about 8.8 inches wide by 1.5 inches high).  I really like all of the Tiny Town charts (well, except Halloween which has never been an interest of mine) so I may do some of the others.  My mind is spinning with how to finish it - I really want to try the drum finish but plenty of time to figure that out.

Happy stitching days.

Crochet Mosaic Elephant Finish

I finished the Crochet Mosaic Elephant ♥.

This is pretty thick so it may be more of a rug/play mat than a cuddly baby blanket but it sure is cute.

I have started (another) cross stitch project so I will be working on that for a while.  It's the Heart in Hand Christmas Tiny Town which can be seen here:

Crochet Mosaic Elephant WIP

I have been working on this baby blanket for the last several weeks. It won't be too long before it's finished.

Here is a link to the free pattern as well as links to pdf files available for purchase www.thelavenderchair.com/mosaic-elephant-blanket-crochet-pattern

Enjoy some weekend stitching ♥

Scandi Meadow Finish

I have finished the Scandi Meadow blanket.  This ended up being 30" x 39".

I didn't make the border as large as the pattern called for and the final row of the border is

(5 dc in 1 stitch, skip 2 stitches, slip stitch, skip 2 stitches) repeat all around

I have the yarn for a new afghan but I also feel like I want to cross stitch something with a Christmas theme

Enjoy a stitchy weekend

WIP Scandi Meadow

I have my little pieces put together and I am just starting on the border.

One of the small leaves on the bottom row was missing a leaf but rather than do it over, I decided that the wind blew it away so it is part of the blanket as is.

Happy stitching this weekend.

Scandi WIP

Here are the parts I have crocheted for the Scandi Blanket.  I purchased the pattern from Made by Anita https://madebyanita.co.uk/shop/p/scandi-meadow-blanket-pattern.

I have seen it with dark blue, green and pink backgrounds - I like them all but as you can see, I settled on the white background.

I am using Stylecraft Special DK yarn for this.

There is a facebook group full of pictures by members who are much faster than me with their hooks.

I have already ordered yarn for my next project which is another mosaic crochet.

Enjoy your stitching ♥

xsLove Story WIP

I started a cross stitch project for my niece who is getting married this weekend. As you can see, I will have to mail it to her after the wedding but better late than never. I have another crochet project that I am looking forward to so I hope to share some progress on that soon. Have a great weekend ♥
