Progress on new Mothers Tree

This is as far as I have gotten on the Swing Tree for the current Mothers Tree project.  Stitching all in black is a new style for me and I will admit it can put me to sleep occasionally.  It is still exciting to see the tree start to appear and I am looking forward to stitching the swing.
I have never liked working with the DMC black floss - it seemed stringy and limp compared to the other DMC floss.  For this project I decided to try the new Sullivans floss.  I can't tell any difference between the two so perhaps the quality of floss is affected by the black dye.  I have heard that the Anchor floss in black is very nice so that will be my next brand to try when I need black floss.  I don't want to change floss in the middle of this though.
