The pictures of the devastation caused by Hurricane Harvey are so very sad but at the same time it is so uplifting to see the outpouring of love and assistance provided to Texas by people from all over the country. This first quilt top is a free pattern by Judy Laquidara. CLICK HERE to go to her instructions. The pattern is called
Out of the Bag and it is a little over half way down the page that the link takes you to.
The Quilt Haus in New Braunfels, TX is accepting donations to make quilts for Hurricane Harvey survivors. I am sending a couple of quilt tops for them to finish into quilts and distribute. They have a Facebook page here.
They "are accepting donations of fabric, quilt tops, orphan blocks, backing fabric, batting, gently used quilts, and even cash donations to supply as many quilts as we can, as quickly as we can, to those displaced and suffering from this disaster."
Stay safe and stitch whenever you can

As a man thinks in his heart, so is he. [Proverbs 23:7]

Rita, Thanks for the link. I have a few quilt tops ready to go that I was going to give to Project Linus, but this seems like a much better place to send them for the time being. Have a great weekend! Andrea (P.S. Your quilt tops look fantastic!)
