I just finished quilting and binding this baby quilt (approximately 42" x 52"). I haven't washed it yet so technically I shouldn't be calling it finished until it comes out of the dryer still in one piece.
I call it bluework because I embroidered the little blocks with blue thread instead of red thread when I did the embroidery.
I found the pictures on line or in coloring books about 7 years ago when I was sure my daughter was going to have a baby boy. When I found out it was was actually a sweet little grand daughter on the way I put this top aside to make a different quilt for her.
I will now give this to my daughter to either keep or give as a gift in one of the many baby showers she will be attending this year.
It certainly feels good to finally finish this.

Beautiful quilt! :)
It looks beautiful! I hope your daughter will keep it. You've spent a long time working on this... Maybe she'll try for a little boy??? :P
This is gorgeous! I'm sure whoever your daughter chooses to give this to will treasure it for a long long time.
