Most everyone that I would make this for lives in Phoenix which is usually too hot to wear a poncho but many of these people love the camping life so this would be perfect for a cool weather camp out.
I love the browns that are shown but I decided to use my yarn stash so I substituted the blues.
I used Caron Simply Soft yarn in these colors:
White
Light Country Blue, and
Country Blue
Here is my finished poncho and I am already trying to decide if I want to modify it to make smaller ponchos for the grand daughters.
